Portable Brinell Hardness Tester PHBR-2/4/ Product details]:
Product Specification:
• Portable Brinell Rockwell hardness tester combines the function of Rockwell scale and Brinell scale, it has a more broad testing range.
• It is not only suitable for the Brinell scale's testing objectives which includes castings, forgings, steels and nonferrous metals, but also suitable for the Rockwell scale's testing objectives which includes steel, copper, aluminum, carburized layer and steel alloy.
• Portable Brinell type can be divided into three kinds of hardness testers, including small-scale PHBR series, C-frame series and magnetic PHBR series.
• The testing objectives are different due to their different testing principles.
• PHBR-2 which belongs to small-scale PHBR series weighs 1.2kg and it can test the maximum opening size of t workpiece up to 50×50mm, thus it is widely used in sheets and small findings.
• PHBR-100 is the magnetic Brinell Rockwell hardness tester. The weighs 4.0 kg and its minimum testing surface is 180×60mm, which is widely used in large plates, shafts, steels and weldings.
• PHBR-8-4 belongs to the C-frame type can test the maximum opening size up to 200×100mm, which offsets the shortage of the small-scale or magnetic type. Customers can select suitable type of the hardness tester according to the workpiece's material and size.
Features,
• The portable Brinell Rockwell hardness tester combines with the Rockwell hardness tester and Brinell hardness tester, which adds the function of Brinell hardness tester on the PHR series small, C clamp, chain clamp and magnetic Rockwell hardness testers.
• The portable hardness tester meets on the practical Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing principle, and displays the Brinell and Rockwell hardness reading directly, without conversion. Its measuring accuracy is in accordance with the ISO6506.2 and ISO6508.2 standards.
• The Brinell hardness tester is adopted to testing castings, forgings, steel materials, and non-ferrous metal, while the Rockwell hardness tester is applicable to a various of heat- treated, finished and semi-finished metal parts.
• Installed with different anvils, our models of the portable Brinell Rockwell hardness tester can be used to test metal parts of varied sizes and shapes.
• Traceable standard hardness block, and qualified indenter.
• Test force is calibrated with load directly traceable to national secondary benchmark.

Application |
Rockwell used for all metals, including steel, iron, brass, aluminum, carburizing layer, hard alloy and carbides etc.
Brillner used for casting, forgings, steel materials, and non-ferrous materials. Applied to various metal materials and parts
|
Application:
• The magnetic type hardness testers are recommended to test medium and large work pieces.
• The large hardness testers are the first choice for testing the work pieces that can no be tested by magnetic type hardness testers. Small hardness testers are suitable to test small work pieces.
• Brinell hardness tester is used for testing raw materials, rough castings and forgings.
• Rockwell hardness tester is used for testing finished or half-finished work pieces under final heat treatment.
